Tomato Joe's Pizza is a Santa Clarita staple, born from a family's passion for good food and a touch of entrepreneurial spirit. Back in 2006, the Browns saw a gap in the market - a place offering high-quality, unique pizzas that went beyond the typical delivery fare. Fueled by Joe's love of homemade pizza and a desire to build a family business, Pizza Express was born.

Pizza Express wasn't just about delicious food, it was about the American Dream. It was a chance for the Browns to teach their kids the value of hard work and grow something special together. For over 15 years, through many unexpected hurdles including the Gobal Financial Crisis and the COVID Pandemic, Pizza Express thrived, becoming a local favorite known for its innovative pizzas and (usually) fast, friendly service.

But the story doesn't end there. In late 2018, the Tomato Joe's family expanded with the opening of Pizza & Taps. This full-service restaurant offered the same legendary pizzas alongside an expanded menu, self-serve beer & wine, and a relaxed, sports bar inspired, rock music influenced ambiance. Great tunes from every decade fill the air, adding to a vibe that's perfect for a casual get-together or a special occasion.
